On this day ten years ago, one of our favourite comedies was released, the brilliant Shaun of the Dead. Starring the hilarious duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, the film revolves around two best friends who find themselves facing the zombie apocalypse.
This got us thinking about what we would feel like if were facing the zombie apocalypse and luckily, Simon and Nick were there to help us with these gifs.
1. First, we would probably be delighted!
YAY! The zombie apocalypse is here! This always sounded like so much fun!
2. Then, it might get a little uncomforable.
Oh dear, now there’s a zombie in my sitting room.
3. Of course, you would have to document it.
Say cheese!
4. Then, you may realise you need to kill a few zombies to survive.
This wasn’t part of the plan.
5. You’ll probably have to make a plan.
It might involve a shovel.
6. And a cup of tea…
Sure, even the apocalypse needs a break.
7. You will have to go find other people.
Somebody always needs to be picked up! Even for a cup of tea… Oh and to be saved from the zombies.
8. You may need to do some Zombie impressions to survive.
And that’s ALWAYS fun.
9. But eventually, you’ll probably get sick of chasing zombies.
It was fun at the start, but now? Not so much.
10. And you’ll realise you may never have sex again.
A depressing thought.
11. In the end, you will just need to accept that this is happening.
Zombies, zombies everywhere!
12. And that everything works out in the end…
