Our immediate thoughts are mixed! Chocolate – yes please! But when it comes to Blue cheese – the Her.ie team is split 50/50. Some are big fans, others not so much! But Chocolate AND Blue Cheese together? Surely not…
This food pairing is already a household name in France as a dessert called ‘Coulant’ by famous Chef Michel Bras, while more recently it has been developed in a different form by Heston Blumenthal.
Now Cadbury have made the bold move for the Irish market with the Cadbury Dairy Milk ‘Blue Cheese Chocolate’ Easter egg!
The medium sized Cadbury milk chocolate Easter egg is infused with the distinctively strong flavour of pasteurized Wicklow blue cheese – creating a sweet and strong taste sensation.
This Easter it will sit on the shelf along with the rest of the Cadbury family, wrapped in the distinctive purple foil. Available for a limited time, will you give it a try this Easter?
