Katheryn Deprill was just a few hours old when she was abandoned, wrapped in a red sweater, in the bathroom of the fast-food restaurant in Pennsylvania back in 1986.
Today she is 27-years-old, has three children and is looking for the mother who abandoned her.
“Number one is, I would really like to say, ‘Thank you for not throwing me away, thank you for giving me the gift of life, and look what I’ve become,'” she told the AP news agency.

Deprill added that she wanted to know what her mother was going through at the time and what kind of stress she might have been under.
The photo was shared over 30,000 times but she is yet to receive any response.
