Ten years ago, a TV series became an obsession for many the viewer. Initially rolled out as three series, Lost soon became so popular it managed to stay on our screens for a total of seven years. Here are eleven valuable lessons we learned from the show.
1. Don’t trust anyone.
Honestly, this will back fire at one stage or another, especially when you’ve landed on a desert island and you don’t really know ANYONE on your flight.

2. Never use flying as a form of transport.
Well, we all know why on this one.
3. Always tie up loose ends.
You never know which day might be your last, these people found that out the hard way.

4. Sometimes people can turn up… unexpectedly.
Who is this guy? Where did you come from? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
5. You will never know everything.
By series 5, you will realise that not only are you totally confused, you just basically have no idea what’s going on anymore. You’ll keep watching anyway for the resolution. Wait, that’s the resolution!

6. Always tell the truth.
Even if it hurts…
7. You won’t always find the answers.
You may not find the answers to the series… Just in general.
8. Take your time.
On this island, we certainly have a hell of a lot of time.

9. Evangeline Lilly will still looks good on a desert island.
How does anyone look this good without makeup and hair products?! IT’S NOT POSSIBLE!

10. Everyone gets a second chance
Even Kate.
11. Maybe don’t invest in a series that doesn’t really know it’s going…
Lost was initally marked for just three seasons and with the crew working barely a few episodes ahead of what was being televised, it was difficult to extend the story. Let’s just put it like this, a lot of people were really annoyed with that ending.
