Geraldine Naughton, who claimed she was knocked down and injured by a milk float used in Father Ted, has settled a High Court action for damages.
The 59-year-old said she was pinned under the float after it drove up against the kerb of a roundabout and rolled over her left leg.
Kilfenora, Co.Clare was the location for a Father Ted festival which is how the milk float came to be in the vicinity on February 26th, 2008, according to the Irish Times.
When the float was removed, Ms Naughton was in great pain and was taken to Ennis General Hospital.
Ms. Naughton was left with a fracture to her fibula, and was forced to use crutches for eight weeks, as well as being left with a permanent scar.
Physical activity still causes her great pain and although the incident may sound comedic, it is far from a laughing matter for Geraldine.
