Getting home from school and sitting down to watch Neil Buchanan do his thing on Art Attack, was a fairly enjoyable time for youngsters who liked arts and crafts.
With the enjoyment however, came the frustrations. Who ever had PVA glue? Even you did have it, your mother probably wouldn’t have let you papier mâché anyway. And don’t get us started on the issue of sticky-back plastic.
Someone that identifies with our arts and crafts woes is Bernard O’ Shea.
On Monday’s Next Week’s News, RTÉ’s newest comedy instalment, host O’ Shea recalled how he substituted sticky-back plastic… “Lady pads.”
