Parenting… This sporting hero is doing it right.
Legendary basketball player Magic Johnson has spoken out in support of his son E.J with a touching message of love and understanding.
Twenty-year-old E.J came out earlier this week, proudly stepping out hand in hand with his boyfriend in LA.
Speaking to TMZ, former LA Lakers superstar Johnson said that he had known “for a long, long time” that his son was gay, and that he supported E.J. “one million percent”.

In the candid interview, Johnson explained how he had initiated the conversation with his son, while E.J was only ’12 or 13’ years of age, in an attempt to reassure him, and “provide him with guidance and advice”.
