Amanda Bynes has finally completed her inpatient treatment and is recovering from the comfort of her parents’ home in Los Angeles just in time for Christmas.
Bynes was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold in July after the 27-year-old start a small fire in a driveway of a home in California.
A judge ordered that Bynes received treatment and the actress was later taken to Malibu rehabilitation facility.
In a statement to People magazine, Tamar Arminak, the Bynes family lawyer said: “Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery.
“Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day.
“Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She’s very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”
Arminak added that Bynes is “now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.”
During a court-ordered medical evaluation in November, a judge reviewed charges against Bynes in relation to a DUI incident in Spring of 2012, and the star is due to reappear in court in the New Year.
