It broke our hearts a little bit when Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus called off their engagement and went their separate ways.
But now it seems that all might not be lost as the actor has apparently told close friends that he is missing his former fiancé.
Miley and Liam dated for four years before calling time on their relationship.
“He’s telling friends he misses her,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He pushed to get back in touch… he still has feelings… the attraction hasn’t gone away.”
According to the publication the couple even met up in Los Angeles last month and have stayed in touch via text message.
They starred in romantic drama The Last Song together.
Since the split both stars, who got together after meeting on the set of The Last Song back in 2009, have spoken highly of each other. When questioned about Miley’s recent success, Liam said he was “extremely happy” for her.
However a reunion might be difficult considering the fact that she is heading off on tour soon and he is starting work on the final two films of The Hunger Games franchise. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see…
