Are you surprised?
Before iTunes, Spotify and Vevo, we used Now That’s What I Call Music! to keep up to date with the biggest hits and most popular artists.
The first of the Now! albums was released in 1983 and since then various spin-offs of the album have been made including Christmas, Dance and Best Of versions.
The has been a total of 95 original Now! albums and we’re sure number 100 will be a big one.
Over the past 33 years, several artists are obviously going to feature more than once.
While we thought Madonna or Michael Jackson might take the prize it is actually Robbie Williams who takes the top spot when it comes to artists featured on the albums. Twenty-nine of his singles were used across the 95 albums.
Rihanna comes in second place with 27 singles and Kylie Minogue comes in third with 23 hits on the CD.
Girls aloud came in fourth which also makes them the most featured band on the compilation CDs with 21 singles.
The above doesn’t include any uncredited appearances in groups or on charity records.
In fairness, everyone has a soft spot for Robbie Williams, so we reckon it’s a well-deserved title.
