If you’ve ever been a flower girl, you’ll know the excitement at being a staple member of the wedding party.
From the big dress, mini bouquet and getting your hair done, to walking down the aisle with your own male escort, life seems pretty sweet.
At a recent wedding in Knoxville, Tennesse, a photographer caught the moment one bride’s four-year old daughter decided to go rogue – with Anderson stealing a kiss from her page boy.
Photographer Leah Bullard was preparing to snap a profile of the wedding party when she asked the bride and groom to kiss.
What happened next has now turned into a viral story:
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Bullard said:
“Anderson, the flower girl, who has a larger than life personality and big imagination, had been calling herself the bride the entire day.
“So naturally, when I told the bride and groom to kiss, she assumed I was referring to her and she leaned in and landed a huge one on the ring bearer!”
Far from being bashful about her little misunderstanding, the proud tot said:
“He was the best ring-bearer ever. And he thought I was the best flower girl ever!”
You never know, maybe they’ll be married years later… like this couple who first met in the same roles twenty years ago.
